About
Joshua Levy is an award winning pianist, composer, arranger, and producer.
In his 18 years with the Grammy nominated, platinum selling band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Josh has traveled the world, appeared before millions of fans, and worked with many of the industry's finest musicians, engineers, and producers. He serves as pianist, arranger, producer, and musical director with the band.
A graduate of the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, Josh studied piano with Terry Trotter and Milcho Leviev; composition and orchestration with Steven Hartke, Erica Muhl, and James Hopkins; Jazz Studies with Corey Allen and Shelly Berg. His trio was the winner of the 1996 John Coltrane Young Musicians and Artists Competition.
Josh has toured internationally for over twenty years and maintains a busy freelance schedule as a pianist, composer, arranger and orchestrator. A Los Angeles native, Josh lives in Glendale with his wife and two children.
